Intense, personalized, multicultural
IUM is located in the Principality of Monaco. Known for its highly diverse, multicultural population, and for luxury and finance, the principality of Monaco is the perfect place for a University that delivers top quality programs. Nowhere else are synergies so strong between a business school and the local community. Students in Monaco enjoy many networking opportunities including conferences, an active mentorship programme, and many other activities.
The Monaco MBA
The full-time MBA lasts for 10 months, and is a challenging programme. Students come from many different cultural and professional backgrounds
• a typical cohort consists of 40 students, of as many as 20 different nationalities.
• 40 weeks – divided into five, eight-week terms
• Specializations offered in Finance/Wealth Management, Luxury Goods & Services, International Marketing

• Possibility to study French, Italian, Spanish or Chinese
• Strong emphasis on personal development: each student has to complete an applied research project, based on his/her family business, or on an entrepreneurial opportunity; it may also be used to explore a career in a new company or industry.
• Placement at IUM, like many other aspects of the programme, is a highly individualized process. We work with the students to help them prepare for the position: interview techniques, advice on resume and cover letter preparation, salary negotiation, and closing techniques. IUM has a Career Development Office to guide the students throughout their stay at IUM.
Executive MBA
The EMBA at IUM is designed for professionals who wish to continue working while pursuing their degree. The average EMBA student has between 10 and 15 years of work experience. Students in the EMBA must complete 57 credits to obtain their degree. They can create their own schedule and specialize in their field of interest. The minimum period required to complete the program is 18 months.
Master of Science in Financial Engineering
This 10-month programme is designed for students with strong mathematical skills, who wish to work in the financial services industry. A heavy emphasis is placed on hedge fund analysis and management.
Master of Science in Luxury Goods and Services
This 10-month program trains students in all the specific aspects of the sector of luxury goods and services. Specific aspects of international luxury strategy, luxury marketing, luxury brand management, etc are covered to familiarize students with the issues facing the industry. The accent is placed on actual contacts with the corporate world.
